Alexandra Uribe
Alexandra Uribe Coughlan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), a Master´s Degree in International Relations from New York University, and is a Doctoral Candidate in Political Science from NYU. Since 1998, she had taught Political Science at ITAM, at both the undergraduate and diploma level. Additionally, she is involved in editing social science texts. Her academic interests include the history of economic and political development, the history of economic and political development, with a particular focus on the pivotal role technology plays in shaping these domains. She is also deeply interested in exploring questions surrounding political and social representation, the intersection of religion and politics, and the dynamics of political violence.
