Marcela González studied a BA in Public Accounting at the Autonomous Technologic Institute of México (ITAM) and graduated with a special mention in the year 1996.

Marcela obtained a master’s degree in Accounting with a specialty in Taxes in January 2022.  She has the Certification granted by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos, A.C.) on February 7, 2023.

In 2018 she obtained an academic degree at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (Mexico Autonomous Technological Institute) in the Financial Accounting area, teaching the following subjects:  Accounting Process and Intermediate Accounting, subjects taught to all the business and accounting school students, and Financial Accounting, subject that is taught to all other BA subjects at ITAM.

Since 1994 she has developed her profesional practice in the tax and accounting area both at the independent and well as at the Business Industry sector.  On August of this year, at the Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa y Cía., Firm, in tax practice, in order to later on Venture into the business sector in Mercedes Benz, in the accounting and tax department, and then continued her profesional career at the Tax Department in Eseverri y Ramírez Villegas Tax Firm.

In the year 2000, she started her independent private practice, taking care of the individuals and Corporation clients helping them to comply with tax and accounting obligations and liabilities.

Marcela has participated in different fora of the profession both as presenter as well as participant on issues related to our country’s accounting and taxes.
